I’m Chris Whitelaw

I love details but I always ensure each detail is aligned with the big picture which meets clearly defined aims.

I have a degree in Business Information Technology with over 12 years experience in Desktop Support and Systems Analysis and Engineering with a focus on Wintel Infrastructure in MS Windows Server, MS Office, VMware Virtual Server and Web Development with most of those years working freelance in Investment Banking. In the years leading up to this I worked as a Professional Soccer Coach in the UK and USA.

After working in Investment Banking I started from scratch in London Speciality Coffee and my passion and interest in honouring the work of Coffee Farmers, Traceability, Environmental protection and training and supporting Baristas led me to become a Certified Trainer for the Specialty Coffee Association (AST) in Barista Skills and Brewing Skills and Managing over £3million of Coffee and Tea sales for the world famous Tate galleries, with all profits being returned to support the work of Tate, helping to fund its incredible program and keep gallery visits free to all.

Whilst starting out in hospitality I worked on Marketing and Communications for Turning Earth Ceramics Studios in exchange for studio time, ceramics is a craft that I still enjoy and practice today.

I now live in the Mediterranean Island of Mallorca. I am loving, adventurous, kind and energetic.
