Before the Brand Identity relaunch, I was responsible for creating and managing the Instagram feed for Coffee by Tate. The goal was to offer a behind-the-scenes look at Tate’s in-house roastery, situated within the historic grounds of Tate Britain. This platform was used to highlight Tate’s pioneering approach to gender equality in coffee sourcing and roasting, as well as to promote the various B2B and B2C services offered, including Wholesale Coffee, White Label Wholesale Coffee, Contract Coffee Roasting, “Slot” (Toll) Roasting, and Retail Coffee sold online and in Tate Shops.
Key Achievements:
- Brand Account Approval & Growth: Successfully gained approval to create the brand’s Instagram account, growing the follower base from 0 to 2,000 within 12 months.
- Business Development via Instagram: Leveraged the platform to generate new business, securing 5 new sales accounts through direct messaging, followed by site visits.
- Storytelling & Engagement: The Instagram feed effectively communicated the unique story of Coffee by Tate, resulting in a steadily growing following and increased engagement.
- Supporting Tate’s Mission: All profits generated through these efforts were reinvested to support the work of Tate, aligning with the organization’s broader mission.
